Addendum

The updates listed in this addendum apply to the 2019-2020 Pitzer College Catalog. This addendum contains policy or program changes that received approval after the Catalog for the academic year was published as well as corrections of errors in the original version of the Catalog.

Spring 2020 Grading Policy modification:  Pitzer College implemented a grading system of Satisfactory Pandemic/No Record Pandemic with a GPA boost for Spring 2020. Under this policy, no letter grades given. A Satisfactory Pandemic (SP) is defined as a minimum passing grade of D-. For each course that a student passes, an SP appears on the transcript, and each SP will be recorded in the GPA as equivalent to an A. A grade of No Record Pandemic (NRP) does not appear on a student’s transcript. All courses graded SP this semester qualify toward completion of requirements for majors, minors, and graduation. Letter grades were not  necessary this semester to qualify for honors.
